The rules, in plain words.

Written to describe how the product actually works rather than to be unreadable. Where the law gives you a right, nothing here takes it away.

Who you are dealing with

Policonvo is made by MERTICARIU SERGIU-EMANUEL PERSOANĂ FIZICĂ AUTORIZATĂ, a sole trader registered in Romania at Aleea Jupiter nr. 14, bl. 14, sc. A, et. 1, ap. 6, camera 1, Municipiul Suceava, Județul Suceava. Tax identification 55262572; trade register number F2026036519004; European unique identifier ROONRC.F2026036519004. You can reach a person at hello@policonvo.com.

These terms cover your use of the Policonvo application and this website. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.

What Policonvo is, and what it is not

Policonvo is a desktop application that loads messaging services you already use, each in its own isolated browser session, inside one window. It does not host, transmit, store or relay your messages. Every service is that service’s own web application, loaded from that service’s own website.

Policonvo is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to WhatsApp, Telegram, Meta, Google, Slack, Discord, Signal or any other service it can display. Their names and logos are their own trademarks, used only to identify what the app can open.

Your use of each service remains governed by that service’s own terms and privacy policy. If a service changes, restricts or blocks access through third-party browsers or containers, Policonvo may stop working with it, and that is outside our control.

Your licence

When you buy a licence you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Policonvo on computers you own or control, for as long as your licence is valid. You do not buy the software itself; copyright stays with us.

You may not resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the application or a licence key. You may not attempt to circumvent licence checks or the limits of the free tier.

You may install it on more than one of your own machines. There is no per-device charge; activation counts exist to stop a single key being shared publicly, not to meter your desk.

The free tier

Policonvo can be used free of charge, indefinitely, with up to three services and one workspace. It is not a trial and it does not expire.

If a paid licence lapses, the app returns to those limits. Services beyond them are locked, not deleted: their sessions and settings stay on your computer and become available again if you add a valid licence.

Buying, and who sells to you

Purchases are handled by our payment provider, acting as merchant of record. That means they are the seller in your purchase contract: they take the payment, charge any VAT or sales tax due in your country, and issue your invoice. Their terms apply to the transaction itself.

We receive your email address so that a licence can be sent to you, and re-sent if you lose it. We never receive your card details.

Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of tax as indicated at checkout, and the amount you pay is the amount shown there.

Refunds and cancellation

Because our payment provider is the seller, refunds are handled under their refund policy, and a request to us will be passed to them.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. That right can be lost if you asked for immediate access and acknowledged losing it at checkout — which is what downloading and activating a licence straight away means. Statutory rights that cannot be waived are not affected by anything in these terms.

A subscription can be cancelled at any time. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and your licence remains valid until that period ends.

Updates and changes

We may change, add or remove features. Updates are downloaded in the background and are never installed without you choosing to install them.

If we change these terms in a way that affects your rights, the change applies from the date shown at the top of this page, and continuing to use the app after that date means accepting it. We will not apply a change retroactively to a purchase already made.

Support for a service in the catalogue is not a promise. Services can be added or removed as their web applications change.

What we do not promise

Policonvo is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every service at all times, and we do not control the services it displays.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for anything arising from a third-party service being unavailable, changing, or terminating your account. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including a consumer’s rights under the law of their country of residence.

Ending it

You can stop using Policonvo at any time by uninstalling it. Removing a service clears its session; deleting the application’s data folder removes everything it has kept.

We may end your licence if you breach these terms in a way that is serious and, where it can be fixed, that you do not fix after being asked. If we do that without cause, we will refund the unused part of what you paid.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Romania. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform for consumers at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Before any of that: write to hello@policonvo.com. Most things are a misunderstanding and get fixed the same week.
